The background music is very jazzy and chill and the lyrics are thoughtful and nice. I have always respected Lupe Fiasco for his different and avant garde approach to hip-hop. Give him a chance :D

Ok so I figured it was time to hear from my favorite band of all time, Keane. I can't even begin to explain their sound other than a piano/drums/synth amazingness with amazing lyrics and vocals. This song is from their latest album and has a heavy 80s influence with the keyboard and sound effects.

Of A Revolution, O.A.R. as they are commonly known as, is a alternative rock, college-y band with mature lyrics. Their sound has transformed over the years as the progressively got older. This song is from their newest album. Enjoy!

So today's song is from a band called The Script. I have absolutely obsessed with their music since I found them on late night TV. A band from Ireland, their sound is a little bit of everything, you can tell they are influenced by good old pop and even hip-hop. This sound in particular is my favorite from their album! Spaceman

The Killers has been around for quite a while, this being from their 4th studio album. I have always been a fan of the indie rock sound they produce, but in Day & Age they have a very heavy 80s influence that I love. Anyways, enjoy.

Saw this band live when they opened for Keane. I really like their sound and this sound in particular. Its a very dream state guitar and clear vocals, good mix.

Found this song on late night VH1. I like the funky sound and its not just a repetitive pop song, it has a story and developed lyrics. Let me know what you think! I have yet to look into the band as a whole - I've only listened to this song. I'll look into them, but at them moment can't get this song outta my head!
